Who we are
Toxic, But You Love Me is a podcast operated by 24-7 Solutions LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we,” “us”). Questions: hello@toxicbutyouloveme.com.
What we collect
- Toxic List: your email, your phone number if you give it, and whether you agreed to texts.
- Bad Decision submissions: your voice notes, anything you type in the optional note, your phone number if you leave one for a callback, and the boxes you checked. We don’t ask for your name.
- Technical info: like most websites, our hosting and service providers automatically log things like IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited. We use it to keep the site running, secure, and free of spam.
How we use it
- To tell you when the show drops and send updates by email, and by text only if you opted in.
- To listen to, edit, disguise, discuss, and possibly play submissions on the podcast and its channels, as described in the Submission Terms.
- To call or text you about your story, only if you left your number for a callback. We tell you before we record a call.
- To prevent spam and abuse, and to follow the law.
Your identity
A voice can identify someone, so we disguise every voice before a submission airs, and we never say submitters’ names or contact details on air. We give every uploaded file a generic name. Please leave out details that could identify you or anyone else. Listeners may still recognize a story they already know, so share only what you’re comfortable with.
Who can see it
Our production team, plus the service providers who host the site, store submissions, and send our emails and texts, only so they can do that work for us. We don’t sell your personal information. We may share information if the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
List info stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Submissions stay as long as we need them for the show. To ask us not to use your submission before it airs, email us with the approximate date you sent it and what it was about, so we can find it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- Email us to ask what we have about you or to delete it.
Adults only
This site is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or storage system is 100% secure.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top.
